Detroit area employer is seeking a Senior Manager or Manager, Marketing Analytics who lives and works in the Detroit area and has Automotive experience to be hands-on with statistical analysis and provide consulting services to external clients. Use your Automotive and marketing analytics experience in demand planning and pricing and promotions to influence your clients' advertising budgets. Must be able to travel 25-40%.

Responsibilities of the (Sr.) Manager - Marketing Analytics:
-Provide statistical analysis to clients within the automotive industry. Projects will include market sizing, price studies, promotional analysis and much more.
-Evaluate and analyze the automotive marketplace to identify risks and opportunities for clients.
-Present team members and clients with statistical analysis supporting decisions related to sales, pricing, and marketing strategy.
-Proactively assist in determining client needs and help develop new analytical solutions to satisfy those needs.
-Assist in developing new business opportunities.

Qualifications of the (Sr.) Manager - Marketing Analytics:
-You live and work in Detroit area currently.
-Ability to travel 25-40%.
-Automotive experience.
-Minimum bachelor degree in a quantitative field: Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science etc. Master degree highly desirable.
-5-7 years of relevant, business based experience in a marketing analytics environment using advanced statistical analysis to develop market insights and recommendations.
-Business based proficiency using SAS, SPSS or similar statistical software packages.
-Marketing analytics experience in the automotive industry, consumer products or consulting.
-Strong communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external parties.
-Proven analytical/problem solving and data analysis skills in a marketing analytics environment.
-Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
-Proven ability to help develop new business.
