Analytical consulting company in Atlanta is seeking a Data Scientist with SAS and R experience to perform pricing analysis and make strategic recommendations to their clients. In this high visibility role, you will use your business background in retail pricing analytics to improve top and bottom line performance.

--Use advanced statistical techniques to produce valid pricing recommendations.
--Provide analytical leadership on client engagements.
--Translate client challenges into statistically sound pricing analytics projects.
--Collaborate and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
--Use a variety of statistical techniques to analyze unstructured data.
--Ability to travel 25-50%, depending on the engagement. Some engagements require less travel.

Requirements of the Data Scientist:
--Minimum 6 years of business experience in a marketing analytics setting, building predictive models.
--Experience performing retail pricing analysis in a business setting.
--Solid SAS experience in a business setting. Proficiency in R and Python.
--Experience with Hadoop or other big data tools.
--Proven experience developing, presenting and implementing results of pricing analyses.
--Solid business experience working with large datasets and a variety of analytical techniques including data mining and statistical modeling.
--Solid project management and client facing ability.
--Minimum master's degree in econometrics, statistics, predictive analytics or other quantitative field.
