Well known analytical consulting company is seeking a Data Scientist to develop processes to extract and utilize data to improve company's ability to deliver successful marketing programs. Use your big data, predictive modeling and machine learning capabilities to drive marketing efforts.
-Help build machine learning models (including predictive models and recommender systems), mine data to detect for patterns, opportunities and insights to build data products.
-Oversee the continued development of the analytic capabilities, identify opportunities to improve the processes and streamline activities.
-Participate in the development and testing process of future products.
-Minimum 2 years of post master's degree business experience working in a data analysis environment, market research or promotion/advertising. Experience in syndicated research &/or consumer packaged goods preferred.
-Business based experience (post master's degree) designing and analyzing experiments to measure the impact of marketing campaigns.
-Business based experience building machine learning models in R, Python or SAS
-SQL proficiency in a business setting.
-Exposure to Hadoop in a business environment.
-Master's degree in Statistics, Math, Business Analytics, Economics or other quantitative field.
