Prominent company in the Tampa, FL area is looking for a GIS Analyst to improve customer loyalty and company revenue by performing retail analysis using expertise in GIS data.
--Prep data from multiple sources.
--Produce statistical models and perform data mining to help the company locate retail sites.
--Create specialized reports using GIS tools and data sets.
--Analyze data and provide insights around consumer behaviors and spending patterns for internal stakeholders.
--Provide recommendations for retail locations.
--Candidates MUST have experience in human geography (where to put a retail store).
--Minimum 3 years of post education experience in a marketing analytics setting, performing retail data manipulation, modeling, interpretation, reporting and map generation.
--Minimum 3 years of business based experience using Geographic Information System (GIS) systems in a retail setting to analyze customer demographics and consumer behaviors.
--Post education business based experience using SQL, GIS tools, ESRI, Alteryx, and either R or SPSS for marketing applications.
--Conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills in a retail environment.
--Minimum Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Human Geography, MBA or other). Master's degree preferred.
