Prominent company in Western Michigan is seeking a Manager Pricing Analytics to join an advanced analytics team. This hands-on team leadership role is high visibility and will impact bottom line results for the company. Candidates must have solid business experience in pricing and promotion analytics.

--Lead and oversee the pricing strategy lifecycle for a large segment of the business.
--Partner with the merchandising team to deliver market share, revenue and profitability.
--Produce statistical analyses using a variety of sources, including IRI or Nielsen data.
--Produce predictive models to predict impact of price strategies.
--Deliver actionable scorecards and ad hoc reports.
--Present insights and recommendations to business partners.
--Lead a team of pricing analysts, providing guidance and driving accountability within the team.

--Minimum 5 years of retail analytics experience, at least some of which must be in pricing analytics.
--Business based experience in predictive analytics in a retail marketing or retail pricing environment using large and complex datasets.
--Experience using SAS, Stata or SPSS in a business setting to develop pricing solutions.
--Advanced Excel skills.
--Experience with price management tools such as Revionics or DemandTec.
--Experience leading a team of marketing or pricing analysts in a business setting.
--Solid verbal and written communication skills and the ability to influence others.
--Minimum bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (mathematics, statistics, economics, or other). Master's degree highly preferred.
