Job Description:
The Medical Science Liaison will be responsible for facilitating and developing relationships with the medical/scientific community by communicating product-related information to investigators, institutions, cooperative groups, consortia, managed care organizations, P&T committees and other venues. Position will provide information on research developments and new concepts in medical treatment/management, while providing perspective to medical/scientific field activities associated with growing existing products, as well as agents that are in the process of being brought to market. This position will report to the Director - Medical Science Liaisons Central (within Medical Affairs)

Job Responsibilities:
Participates in medical education for healthcare professionals, including formulary (P&T) committees, through presentations at appropriate venues.
Identifies, establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with key investigators, institutions, groups and consortia strategic to the effective use of company products
Identifies and communicates key clinical and research issues from industry leaders to appropriate departments to help shape company research, development, marketing plans and strategies.
Identifies clinical research opportunities that are consistent with company objectives.
Represents the key contact for investigators for the initiation of investigator initiated studies.
Provides investigators with technical support for study development.
Substantively contributes to scientific publication planning, slide-deck development, training initiatives and the development of the Medical Strategy Plan

Experience:
Advanced degree (M.D., Ph.D. or Pharm.D.) is required with prior experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical or healthcare education environment
A minimum of 5 years hematology/oncology experience is required..
