A Biopharmaceutical company located in Maryland is looking for a new Senior Business Insights Director to serve as the primary insights contact for data analytics and market research. You will provide strategic business insight over an entire portfolio of products within Oncology. You will be in charge of all aspects of insights, market research and forecasting.

As Senior Director, you will play an influential role in making a positive impact on changing patient's lives. This role includes managerial responsibility with 6 direct reports spanning both insight & analytic professionals. A strong foundation of primary market research skills and secondary data analysis proficiency, as well as the ability to work in a very dynamic and environment is a requirement.

Responsibilities:
- Be an internal consultant for primary market research and secondary data analyses
- Work collaberatively with cross functional teams to develop strategy
- Provide guidance on go-to-market strategy, brand health monitoring, including brand equity and other KPI development/quantitative tracking
- People development and retainment
- Research plan development, including budgeting and cost
- Clearly communicate insights on the brand and business
- Short and long term forecasting based on assumptions
- Anticipate future needs and provide strategic recommendations and insights on information and data needs
- Leverage deep understanding of product commercialization and lifecycle management
- Manage and design qualitative and quantitative market research and analytics that deliver insights to enable evidence-driven marketing decisions
- Utilize secondary research methods and industry resources (i.e. syndicated reports, web-sites, etc.) to provide competitive intelligence, ad hoc information etc.
- Work with the Pricing and Market Access team to ensure that payer insights are integrated into commercial and clinical strategy and positioning

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred
- 10+ years experience in insights & analytics
- 5+ years experience in pharmacutical or biotechnology experience (oncology preferred)
- Experience managing a team
- Proven understanding of customers and uses that insight to provide value
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and spend time on self and team development, creating an environment which enables others to perform at their best
- Proven ability to be influential and make decisions quickly and effectively
- Work in a collaberative nature (across cultures, functions, and geographies)
- Proficiency in secondary data analysis in combination with sources (IMS, WK, IPSOS)
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority, motivate teams, and maintain high levels of respect for and from peers
