The Senior Manager of Medical Information in Oncology (Medinfo-Onc) provides detailed oncology medical information and is the liaison of medical information to colleagues to ensure local and regional informational needs are being met. Medinfo-Onc develops, maintains and uses product and oncology disease state subject matter expertise (SME) to respond to inquiries escalated from affiliate and medical information call center staff and delivers product and MI process training to all stakeholders, and manages the development, approval, and maintenance of global and region specific medical and technical global core content (GCC) documents for product inquiries from internal customers such as country affiliate staff, and from external customers including healthcare professionals (e.g., External Experts, Key opinion Leaders, physicians, pharmacists, nurses, etc.) and consumers.

Senior Manager Medical Information - Oncology Key Responsibilities:
1.Creates accurate global core content and summarizes clinical guidelines, and assists in the development and approval of data on File in accordance with established policies and practice standards.
2.Content created must convey a clear and appropriate clinical message.
3.Review and approves medical content.
4.All content must be in compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.
5.Liaison for Medical Information at global and scientific conferences working cross-functionally to design and authorizes floor plans and logistics for Medical Information Booths.
6.Performs literature searches, reviews data and keeps an in-depth understanding of product line knowledge, oncology as a disease state, treatment guidelines, labeling, and relevant internal data.
7.Serves as an active member of Global and Local Medical Affairs teams.
8.Collaborates with colleagues (Brand Teams, Hub management, Global& Regional TA Leads, regional medical) to ensure development of relevant core content for customers.
9.Provides solutions that make medical information available to customers in unique and innovative ways (i.e. SMS, video, podcast).
10.Is always commercially aware of the requirements of internal and external customers.
11.Collaborates with cross-functional colleagues to develop in the development of the Medical Value proposition for reimbursement communications, including AMCP dossiers.
12.Develops and updates dossier content. Critically evaluates literature and interprets complex data to ensure that the information is adapted to the needs of a variety of audiences.
13.Is a mentor and role model to peers.
14.Create or identify medical information insights based upon inquiries then collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to identify scientific gaps and strategic solutions.
15.Help in the development and delivery of core content and overall medical information training.

Senior Manager Medical Information - Oncology Basic Requirements:
1.Advanced Degree Preferred such as; Master's degree in Nursing, PA, Pharmacy, PhD in Health Sciences, or MD, DO program.
2.Attained licensure for professional practice when appropriate.
3.Four years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or six in health care related field.
4.Expert understanding of relevant oncology therapeutic area required including an understanding of how medical information content and communications supports business needs.
5.Residency in drug information preferred.
6.Must have oncology experience.
7.Project management experience to lead multidisciplinary and cross-divisional meetings.
8.Need for excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
9.Must analyze and anticipate business needs and identify new business opportunities.
10.Create and implement oncology team level strategies.
