A global Market Research and Strategy Consulting firm located in Michigan is looking for a new Senior Market Intelligence Project Manager. This is a senior level consulting position in which you will be responsible for managing a project from conception through presentation, assuring that all client expectations are met including final deliverables as well as maintaining all cost, quality and timing expectations. Demonstrated strategic thinking and high level presenting skills will be a necessity for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple projects at once as well as ensuring the research team is properly maintaining data quality
- Create timelines in line with project needs and communicate status and milestones to team members
- Partner with Customer Insights Team to manage the data gathering process and ensure quality standards are applied and met throughout
- Track costs and oversee budgets, also participate in pricing and project proposal/scope through to client presentation and actively discussing insights with clients
- Responsibility of educating, mentoring and developing team members in process of conducting research projects and delegate responsibilities on projects
- Guide the research team to populate research and final reports
- Participate in all client communications, initiate and conduct relations with the client throughout the study
Requirements:
- Knowledge of the following projects/methodologies: Market sizing, segmentation, market opportunity analysis, growth strategies, and commercial due diligence preferred.
- Minimum 6 years' experience working in a professional business environment - business analysis or market research preferred (8+ years preferred )
- Experience within the B2B or building construction and manufacturing industry to a relevant capacity
- Bachelor's degree in related field, Master's degree preferred
- Ability to lead a team and mentor junior level staff
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior management and above
- Demonstrated experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint, SPSS a plus
- Ability to make strategic and highly actionable recommendations to clients in a clear, concise manor that is relevant to their business objectives
