Fortune 500 company is seeking a Statistician - Model Validation to join an advanced analytics team. The role is high visibility and will impact bottom line results for the company.

--Provide independent review and validation of models that are being developed and have been implemented.
--Provide expertise in problem design, data development, model development, and ongoing model monitoring and validation.
--Discuss and develop alternative models to those proposed by the modeling team

Qualifications for the Statistician - Model Validation role:
--Minimum masters degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering etc).
--Minimum 5 years of full time, business based experience (post masters degree) producing a variety of advanced models including logistic regression, general linear and non-linear modeling, survival analysis, clustering, and time series.
--Full time business experience using SAS and R.
--Solid communication skills.
--Preference will be given to candidates who have full time business experience working in a regulated environment (insurance or banking).
--Candidates must have significant experience doing model validation in a business setting.
