Deliver and lead business insights and recommendations that will become business strategies and improve business. The Data Scientist will achieve this goal by using modeling techniques that increase response and profitability for existing customers and improve targeting for prospects. Data Scientist will direct marketing budget by answering data centric business questions.
DATA SCIENTIST PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Data Science & Analytics
-Lead in leveraging big data and machine learning and AI to achieve goals above
-Identify growth opportunities through data, analyzing ROI and LTV.
-Execute, build, implement and maintain predictive models such as regression, Markov Chain, Time series forecasting
-Conduct analysis to identify areas of improvement for conversion rate, user experience and media mix.
-Translate analytical findings and statistical models into insights and strategies
Data Control and Integration
-Lead data mapping: include all collected data fields and connections.
-Code, clean and manipulate data in Google Big Query using R, Python and/or SQL
-Lead in work, using machine learning and AI to improve data collection and utilization
Data Scientist Qualifications:
DATA SCIENTIST REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
-Bachelor's Degree in Statistics or other Quant Field
-Master's Degree is highly preferred
DATA SCIENTIST EXPERIENCE:
-Experience in SAS, R or similar programming language
-Experience with Java, SQL and Python a plus
-5 or more years of experience with relational databases
-Experience with eCommerce and direct to consumer marketing
-Experience working with data management, predictive modelling and data mining
-Experience with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or similar web analytics tools
DATA SCIENTIST SKILLS:
-Expert in data modeling, using egression, significance testing, multivariate statistics, etc.
-Experience in data mining, using SQL
-Excellent communication and presentation skills
-Ability to pull business insights from data
