We're seeking a driven individual with a proven track record of building scalable and innovative business intelligence products solving important business challenges. The person for this role shines when serving as a consultant to the business and is genuinely interested in understanding the business imperative and resulting objectives of complex and evolving projects. In this role, they will partner closely with both the product go-to-market leaders and the business development team to build easy-to-use tools for an identified market. They will champion and advocate the use of syndicated interactive BI visualization platforms to create an environment of self-service analytics and business solutions, including using LLMs and Gen AI where appropriate. The candidate must be a self-starter, committed to quality, professionalism, and collaborative teamwork, with a sense of urgency.

Senior Business Intelligence Developer Your Impact:

-Oversee and contribute to the creation of user-friendly, data intensive, and visually appealing interactive tools and dashboards using Dundas and potentially other BI platforms.
-Work with the company front-line team (business development, product, and go-to-market leaders) to understand client business needs and product requirements, and then partner with those stakeholders to build a strategic solution.
-Manage and grow at least one and possibly more BI team members.
-Work independently and innovatively on end-to-end solutions, from data analysis to ETL design and development, data modelling, data transformation, and visualization and UI components.
-As needed by clients, perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns and insights that drive business value.
-Manage a team of internal and potentially external product data scientists efficiently to prioritize, build and refine tools and solutions based on market feedback.
-Act as Scrum Master for product team
-Guide operational decisions that impact data structures and connectivity.
-Bring best practices in data architecture and data visualization to the function.
-Build tools in a generic fashion for reuse across other solutions.
-Develop end-to-end technical documentation for each solution.
-Manage projects in an agile environment.

Senior Business Intelligence Developer Qualifications:

-Experience managing direct reports, setting goals for direct reports and guiding and tracking career growth.
-Collaborative team mindset
-Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or its equivalent
-6+ years' experience with dashboard/data visualization platforms like Tableau, Dundas, Microsoft PowerBI, and Looker
-5+ years of experience with data preparation and transformation. Strong SQL skills for data retrieval, manipulation, querying, and the creation and modification of database objects
-Experience building and/or managing the development of Python-based machine learning models, time series models, and language models
-Experience building a using LLMs and Gen AI
-Experience with Agile/Scrum development is a plus
-2+ years' experience with Databricks preferred
-Comfortable with data warehousing concepts, preparing data, and configuring automated workflows
-Experience implementing security measures and access limitations in reports.
-Familiarity with Snowflake
-Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as an analytical orientation
-Strong data analysis skills; experience with complex logic
-Experience connecting and merging disparate datasets
-Strong organizational skills & attention to detail
-Possess a desire to work for a fast-paced, results-based company
