Job Description

MSL Director
Remote/Permanent

Responsibilities:
In this role you will play an important role in Medical Affairs and manage a team of MSLs. You will brief clients on the benefits of company products as well as providing scientific insights to the Medical Affairs internal team. You will be part of a field based team and interact with KOL's and consumers. In addition, you will:

Provide KOL insights and observations to the medical affairs organization on a timely basis.
Develop relationships with thought leaders within the medical community and identify requests for investigator-initiated research.
Provide medical and scientific support through the dissemination of on-label educational, scientific, and clinical information on diseases and treatments.

Requirements:
Doctorate degree (e.g. PhD, PharmD, OD, or MD) and 10 years of pharma/biotech experience.
Experience in eye care/Ophthalmology strongly preferred.
5+ years of experience managing a field based team required.
Established relationships with national KOLs or key customers.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and demonstrated expertise in drug information communication.
Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
Must be available for extensive travel across the East.
