Title- Senior Data Scientist-Pharma/Healthcare Consulting
Salary- $170k-190k(DOE & wiggle room for SUPERSTAR ) + bonus

My client, a Premier Pharmaceutical/Health Care Consulting Company is seeking a "Senior Data Scientist (Director level) " Professional!

The main function of this position will be responsible for analyzing complex healthcare data and providing insights that support the clients in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong expertise in either R and/or Python and has a strong statistical background. Must be very strategic and an exceptional leader. Experience with developing a staff and business development is required

Responsibilities
*Ability to perform complex data analysis
*Ability to code in Python or R
*Work with large datasets and extract insights using statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization tools.
*Develop predictive models to estimate future healthcare costs and identify trends in claims data.
*Collaborate with the actuarial team to provide strategic guidance and recommendations to clients.
*Communicate complex data analysis and modeling results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
*Work with a team of actuaries, data analysts, and software engineers to develop custom solutions to client-specific problems



Requirements:
* BA /BS degree in a quant area / MA preferred
*9-11 yrs. experience working with healthcare data, including claims, medical records, and other related datasets.
*Exceptional leadership skills and has experience building /growing a team
*Proficiency in Python or R programming languages and experience with relevant data science libraries.
*Familiarity with machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data visualization techniques.
*Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
*Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
