Well known retailer is seeking a (Senior) Data Scientist to build revenue/price optimization models to delight customers with competitive prices while improving the bottom line. In this individual contributor role, you will lead other significant projects in the areas of customer LTV modeling, supply chain optimization, demand planning, customer acquisition and retention modeling and market basket analysis. Use your deep experience on a marketing analytics team doing ML modeling and analysis in this high visibility role.

Note: OPT and H1b candidates will not be considered at this time.

Accountabilities of the (Senior) Data Scientist:
--Build and implement price elasticity models to optimize product pricing.
--Produce supply chain models to ensure product is in the right location at the right time.
--Design and implement a/b tests to find and keep profitable customers.
--Built customer segmentation and lifetime value models to predict future revenue streams.
--Analyze pricing and marketing programs for effectiveness and recommend improvements.
--Work cross-functionally to understand business needs and present solutions.
--Create dynamic visualizations to help the business understand progress in meeting goals.

Requirements of the (Senior) Data Scientist:
--3 or more years of business experience working on a marketing analytics team at a retailer.
--Business experience doing pricing optimization modeling at a retailer.
--Business experience building LTV and segmentation models.
--ML expertise on a marketing analytics team building acquisition and retention models in a multichannel environment.
--Experience conducting market basket and promotion analysis.
--Expertise using Python, R and SQL in a marketing analytics team to wrangle and model large datasets.
--Experience using big data tools like Hadoop or Spark in a business setting.
--Experience using PowerBI or Tableau to produce reports and visualizations.
--Experience presenting analysis and recommendations to senior leaders.
--Minimum bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (statistics, applied mathematics, economics or data science or other). Master's degree preferred.
