Position: Corporate Actuary – Cash Flow Testing & Capital Management
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)
Compensation: $160K – $180K Base + Bonus
Actuarial Summary:
Senior actuarial professional with expertise in statutory cash flow testing, C3P1 capital analysis, and life insurance financial reporting. This role supports quarterly production, governance, and reporting of cash flow testing results while partnering with investments, risk, finance, modeling, and technology teams. Responsibilities include enhancing projection processes, evaluating asset and ALM assumptions, supporting regulatory filings, and delivering actionable insights to leadership. Ideal candidates possess strong technical and analytical capabilities, deep knowledge of the U.S. statutory framework, and experience managing complex actuarial models, controls, and reporting processes.
Key Skills & Requirements
• FSA or near-FSA with 8+ years of life and annuity actuarial experience
• Strong expertise in statutory cash flow testing and C3P1 capital requirements
• Knowledge of U.S. statutory reporting, valuation regulations, and actuarial standards
• Experience with MG ALFA or other actuarial projection and valuation platforms
• Understanding of asset modeling, ALM concepts, and investment-related assumptions
• Strong analytical, communication, project management, and process improvement skills
