Title: Actuarial Assistant - Life
Location: Hartford, CT (Hybrid)
Salary -$85,000 - $90,000 Base

Actuarial Overview:
We are seeking an Actuarial Assistant with knowledge of insurance industry and foundational background in actuarial principles. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and improving actuarial models using software such as GGY AXIS and provide support to policyholders. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills and ability to learn new concepts quickly.

Actuarial Requirements:
-Knowledge of insurance industry, foundational background in actuarial principles, strong communication skills and business judgment.
-Experience with life, annuity, and health insurance products,
-Computer programming skills, and experience with Excel macros/VBA programming, and SQL.
-Education & Experience: BA/BS degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or related field,
-2+ actuarial exams passed if on the exam track.
