Title: Actuarial Consultant - Health
Location: NYC or Chicago
Salary: $150,000-$175,000 + 20% Bonus

Actuarial Summary: 
We are seeking a skilled Health Actuary to join our consulting team. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in commercial and/or Medicare markets, or healthcare data analytics, with proven expertise in SAS and SQL. You will support client projects with actuarial analysis, model development, and data-driven insights that shape strategic healthcare decisions. Key Responsibilities:

  • 5–7 years of actuarial experience in health insurance, healthcare consulting, or related fields

  • ASA designation required; near-FSA preferred

  • Strong proficiency in SAS and SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and modeling

  • Experience with commercial, Medicare, or healthcare data sets and programs

  • Ability to develop actuarial models for pricing, reserving, and forecasting healthcare costs

  • Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to present complex findings to clients and stakeholders
