Job Description

Title: Senior Actuary - Annuity 
Location: Remote or Chicago, IL
Salary: $170,000–$190,000 + Bonus

Actuarial Summary:
A dynamic and rapidly growing organization is seeking an M&A Annuity Actuary to join their strategic transactions and valuation team. This high-visibility role offers the opportunity to support and lead actuarial due diligence, transaction modeling, and valuation analytics for Annuity and related M&A deals, with exposure to Reinsurance, Block Acquisitions, and ALM strategies.

We're looking for an actuary with strong technical fundamentals and a strategic mindset, eager to work across departments including Corporate Development, Finance, and Risk. This is an excellent opportunity to influence key decisions and help shape the future of a growing platform.

Actuarial Skills & Qualificaitons:

  • 5+ years of experience in Life/Annuity actuarial roles
  • ASA or FSA preferred; candidates nearing ASA with strong M&A experience will be considered
  • Experience with annuity products, valuation, or M&A transactions
  • Familiarity with PBR, VM-21/22, and statutory/reserve reporting a plus
  • Background in actuarial modeling, pricing, or ALM related to M&A due diligence Technical toolkit: Excel, MG-ALFA, GGY AXIS, or similar actuarial software
