Job Description

Title: Senior Actuary - Pricing Annuity/Life 
Location: Southeast, USA
Compensation:  $180,000-$210,000 + Bonus

Actuarial Summary:
A fast-growing insurance group is hiring a Senior Actuary to focus on pricing, reinsurance, in-force management, and product development for life and annuity products. This role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and broad involvement across actuarial functions, supporting both new business and in-force portfolios. Ideal for someone with strong technical skills and a commercial mindset, the position provides a unique opportunity to influence product strategy and company growth within a dynamic, opportunity-rich environment.

Actuarial Qualifications

  • Lead pricing and product development for fixed annuities, pre-need, and final expense life products.

  • Evaluate and manage reinsurance deals, including pricing and administration.

  • Oversee product filings, system testing, and post-issue performance monitoring.

  • Analyze pricing profitability and capital usage using GGY AXIS.

  • Partner with senior leaders, marketing, IT, and other core teams on high-impact initiatives.

  • ASA/FSA with 5+ years of experience; product and reinsurance experience preferred.
