Acturial Duties:
You are responsible for contributing to the identification, marketing, pricing, underwriting and execution of profitable life reinsurance opportunities that meet Financial Solutions

-Work with internal and external partners to develop new solutions for existing markets and new markets for existing solutions

-Market actuarial solutions and make recommendations to Financial Solutions and Hannover Re leadership as to which opportunities to allocate resources and which to not pursue

-Negotiate contracts, underwrite and price opportunities, obtain any necessary approvals, document transaction and ensure all underwriting requirements are met, actuarial


-Undergraduate Degree in math, actuarial science, finance, accounting or similar
-Comfort with ambiguity, confidence to make decisions with the best available information and willingness to fail fast and change when needed
-Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn new concepts and approaches
-Demonstrated ability to function both on a team and autonomously
-Demonstrated time management skills: willingness to set deadlines and ability to meet them
