We are looking for an Analyst to join our team in St. Louis, MO. This position is responsible for report creation, sales analysis, presentation creation, and training office and sales personnel with data requests
.
Analyst Position Responsibilities:

-Create management quality presentations resulting from comprehensive analysis/compilation of data from internal and external sources.
-Effectively influence others via analysis/support.
-Advance and develop data models in data warehouse to support analytics and analysis.
-Process daily/monthly files from external vendors into company systems through use of semi-automated programs.
-Validate external data for accuracy utilizing internal and external systems.
-Independently mine data and identify opportunities.
-Service field sales personnel on ad hoc data requests/projects.
-Assist in training field/office personnel on sales-related systems as well as communicate complex financial concepts to non-finance personnel.
-Analyze and evaluate key performance metrics impacting business performance and profitability.
-Perform issue identification and analysis related to revenue, margin and mix.
-Assist in development of tools/applications/reports to enhance overall department effectiveness.
-Providing clear and concise charts and presentations to communicate findings, insights and recommendations.
-Prepare daily, weekly, quarterly, monthly, and annual sales review.
-Engage with sales stakeholders to gather analytical requirements and then deliver insights from analytical models in support of strategic decision-making.

Analyst Education and / or Experience:

-B.S. /B.A. Degree (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Economics).
-Minimum 3-5 years writing SQL queries against any Relational Database Management system with query optimization. MS SQL preferred.
-Advanced knowledge of Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) with expert knowledge of Excel.
-Strong communication and analytical skills (written & verbal).
-Self-motivated/directed to handle multiple tasks and projects with minimal direction.
-Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills as well as displays intellectual curiosity.
-Detail-oriented with the ability to draw meaningful/actionable insights using large amounts of data.
-Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to new technologies.
-Strong organizational and planning skills required.
-Ability to adapt to changing situations and work demands.
-Demonstrated proficiency in data management and data platforms (such as Microsoft SQL Server or Tableau) and building statistical models.
-Demonstrated ability to perform end to end Data validation to maintain accuracy of data sets.
