Title: Associate Director, HR Analytics Role:
Location: Irving, TX
Salary: $115,000 – 130,000

The Associate Director, HR Analytics will be a critical member of the broader HR Strategy & Operations team. This highly visible role will support the company’s HR associates globally and will be responsible for developing and scaling our analytical capabilities to support HR’s mission critical priorities in line with company’s growth objectives.

The position reports to the Sr. Director, People Analytics.

Associate Director, HR Analytics Role Responsibilities of the role:
  • Build influential relationships across the organization and partner with HR leadership to solve complex problems and provide analytical support to effectively impact change
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Senior HR leadership and act as the voice of the HR analytics to drive interests and alignment with cross functional business partners
  • Utilizing technology, build and implement innovative and scalable analytics and reporting capabilities to identify both current and future state insights
  • Develop a deep understanding of the key priorities across HR teams to ensure analytics provide actionable insights in the highest impact areas
  • Deliver on HR objectives by liaising with key partners across the HR Strategy and Operations team
  • Establish a customer-centric, no-limits culture in all support provided
  • Proactively identify and continuously prioritize analytical support based on company business strategy
  • Perform ad hoc analyses to support HR leadership
Associate Director, HR Analytics Role Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree required, in analytical subject preferred (e.g., math, science, engineering, economics, etc.)
  • Masters preferred
  • 6-8+ years of progressive business experience, prior analytics experience required
  • Ability to effectively engage and lead senior executives, including Operating Committee members, in the development of solutions for the company’s most critical business initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience telling stories with data to influence senior level clients and business partners and drive change
  • Experience utilizing cutting edge technology to develop scalable solutions across a global matrixed environment
  • Able to solve complex problems and successfully manage ambiguity and unexpected change
  • Strong collaborator and business partner
  • Demonstrated ability to own, manage and complete projects with high quality results.
  • Consistent demonstration of integrity, collaboration, no limits mindset, objectivity, and delivering results consistently using global best practices.
  • Extensive computer experience & proficiency with Microsoft software, specifically PowerPoint, Excel and Power BI, as well as reporting tools such as Power Query
  • Excellent attention to detail.

Paul Chatlos
Principal

Paul Chatlos joined Smith Hanley in 2013. He is currently the Data Science and Analytics Practice Lead for the East and West Coasts and a Principal of the company. Prior to joining Smith Hanley, he recruited marketing professionals in the pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology industries and also worked in Physician Recruitment. He prides himself on building excellent relationships with both clients and candidates in order to best address their hiring needs and career goals. He also believes that recruiting is finding the best “match” of candidate and opportunity. 

He holds a BS in Psychology from James Madison University. Outside of work, Paul enjoys playing golf regularly and is an avid sports fan.
