Position: Commercial Pharmacy Actuarial Director
Location:  Remote
Salary: $180,000-200,000 + Bonus

Actuarial Summary:
The Actuarial Director is a senior leadership opportunity within an expanding healthcare organization focused on pharmacy and risk solutions. This role will shape actuarial priorities, guide pricing strategy and long-range financial projections, and oversee a team delivering analytics, forecasting, and risk insights. Partnering with senior stakeholders and external market participants, the Director will help optimize financial performance, support compliant operations, and contribute to sustainable growth across pharmacy-driven programs and offerings.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of actuarial experience within pharmacy or managed care; 5+ years leading teams
  • Deep expertise in commercial pharmacy pricing, trend development (utilization, cost, pipeline, seasonality), and financial forecasting
  • Proven leadership in hiring, mentoring, performance management, and operational oversight
  • Strong technical skill set including advanced Excel and programming tools such as SAS and SQL
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex actuarial concepts to executive and non-technical audiences
  • FSA or ASA designation and MAAA credential preferred
