Job Description

Title: Consulting Actuary Health
Level: FSA or Near FSA
Location: Chicago, IL

Actuarial Summary:
My client is a leader in consulting to entities participating in Medicaid programs, including state Medicaid agencies, CMS, health plans, and providers. The Medicaid line of business is a stimulating and developing area in which we are planning to increase to our consulting team. Projects include rate setting, experience analysis, pricing of new benefits / benefit changes, assistance with CMS Dual Demonstration programs, and related analytic support.

Actuarial Qualifications:
-3+ years in health actuarial experience at a consulting firm or health insurance company is required
-Experience with developing Medicaid managed care capitation rates for a state Medicaid agency or analyzing Medicaid managed care rates for a health plan
-Fellow in the Society of Actuaries (FSA)
