Title: Data Scientist - Health Actuarial Consulting
Compensation: $120,000-$170,000
Location: Remote

We are seeking a talented and experienced data scientist to join our health actuarial consulting team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for analyzing complex healthcare data and providing insights that support our clients in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities:
-Work with large datasets and extract insights using statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization tools.
-Develop predictive models to estimate future healthcare costs and identify trends in claims data.
-Collaborate with the actuarial team to provide strategic guidance and recommendations to clients.
-Communicate complex data analysis and modeling results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
-Work with a team of actuaries, data analysts, and software engineers to develop custom solutions to client-specific problems.

Requirements:
-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
-Experience working with healthcare data, including claims, medical records, and other related datasets.
-Proficiency in Python or R programming languages and experience with relevant data science libraries.
-Familiarity with machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data visualization techniques.
