Prominent company in Detroit metro area is seeking an experienced Manager of Database Marketing Analytics to help build a marketing analytics practice area. You will develop predictive models, manage marketing campaigns, measure campaign effectiveness and use data mining and analysis to provide insights and recommendations. Use your proficiency in SQL and either Python or R in a marketing analytics setting to manage the marketing campaign lifecycle.

Note: candidates must have 5 or more years of relevant, database marketing analytics expertise (post academia), with experience building a marketing analytics team.

Requirements of the Manager of Database Marketing Analytics:
--Work with internal leaders to ensure set up and execution of data driven marketing efforts.
--Use SQL and either Python or R and other tools to measure effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
--Build predictive models to target prospects most likely to respond to marketing offers.
--Inform the business on the latest technology around topics such as machine learning and digital marketing analytics.
--Identify and implement processes to improve effectiveness of marketing programs.
--Provide visualizations to report results of marketing campaigns.

Qualifications of the Manager of Database Marketing Analytics:
--Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in a marketing analytics environment that you have built from the ground up.
--Expertise in data mining, database management and predictive modeling in a marketing analytics setting.
--Master's degree in a quantitative field (statistics, business analytics, mathematics, etc)
--Expertise with SQL and either Python or R in a marketing analytics setting.
--Experience providing solutions to optimize target marketing efforts.
--Ability to influence others in the business and manage deadlines.
--Ability to be very hands on and work independently.
