Well respected CPG company in metro Chicago is seeking a Director of Database Marketing Analytics to build and lead a marketing analytics team. You will be on the ground level of an exciting and fully funded initiative within the business to design the company database, produce meaningful analysis and insights and work with the company to implement data driven solutions. In this team leadership role, you'll also be very hands on and will bring strong business and customer analytics acumen. Use your business experience in designing a company database, producing models and analysis and driving customer satisfaction, LTV and company profits.
Responsibilities of the Director of Database Marketing Analytics:
--Drive the strategic roadmap outlining data collection and data management to create a data repository that will enable advanced analytical work.
--Partner with IT to build the company database from scratch to support all divisions of the company.
--Hire and train talent to help build the company database.
--Partner with teams in the business to transform decision making from "gut feel" to analytically driven solutions that drive ROI.
--Identify, analyze, and interpret trends and patterns in complex datasets to uncover consumer insights and help guide marketing initiatives and product development.
--Introduce big data, visualizations and new analytical tools to the business.
--Provide hands-on analysis, reports and insights to drive executive level decision making.
--Leverage CPG expertise to build market mix and target models, customer segmentations and loyalty marketing analytics.
Qualifications of the Director of Database Marketing Analytics:
--Experience directing the establishment of a data warehouse where company and customer level data resides.
--Significant experience leading an analytics team within the consumer goods industry.
--Minimum 8 years of experience driving analytics initiatives.
--Minimum Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Predictive Analytics, Computer Science etc.). Master's degree preferred.
--Solid communicator with ability to influence others in the business.
--Strong business experience using SQL and Excel, as well as SAS, R, or Python.
--Expertise building attribution models, providing analysis and producing visualizations.
