Job Description

Position: Health Actuary - Product Development 
Location:  Remote
Salary: $160,000-$187,000 + Bonus

Actuarial Summary:
This health actuary role involves designing innovative insurance products and ensuring comprehensive reporting for accurate financial insights. Responsibilities include analyzing market data, forecasting risk, and creating actuarial models to support new product development. The role requires collaboration across teams to align product performance with business goals and regulatory standards, interpreting financial outcomes, and providing strategic recommendations. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in actuarial software, and an ability to communicate complex insights to non-actuarial stakeholders are essential.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Develop actuarial models to assess risk and support new health product initiatives
  • Analyze data and trends to inform product design and pricing strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products align with business and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare detailed reports and communicate key insights to stakeholders and leadership
  • ASA or FSA with 7+ years of experience within the commercial health insurance space
