Insights Strategist

Location: Los Angeles, West Coast based

A growing insights and strategy consultancy is seeking an Insights Strategist to join its collaborative team. This is an opportunity for a curious and strategic researcher who enjoys managing projects from start to finish, uncovering meaningful insights, and translating findings into compelling stories that drive business decisions.

This role offers significant client exposure and the chance to work across both qualitative and quantitative methodologies while partnering with experienced researchers in a highly creative environment.

What You'll Do

  • Lead qualitative and quantitative research projects from design through final delivery
  • Manage timelines, fieldwork, and overall project execution
  • Develop questionnaires, discussion guides, and research materials
  • Ensure exceptional data quality and analytical rigor throughout the research process
  • Conduct qualitative interviews and other exploratory research activities
  • Synthesize findings into compelling stories and actionable recommendations
  • Develop impactful reports and executive-level presentations
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on study design, analysis, and business implications
  • Act as a day-to-day client contact and build strong relationships
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and present research solutions

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in market research, consumer insights, or a related field
  • Experience managing both qualitative and quantitative research projects
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent storytelling, writing, and presentation abilities
  • Proven ability to translate data into clear business recommendations
  • Strong project management and organizational capabilities
  • Experience working directly with clients in a consultative capacity
  • Leadership experience mentoring or guiding project teams
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint and Microsoft Office tools
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis; SPSS experience is a plus
