A leading custom insights consultancy is hiring a Manager, Quantitative Research & Operations (on a 6 month contract) to support the execution, logistics, and quality assurance of complex quantitative research projects. This role sits at the intersection of research design, vendor management, and operational efficiency, helping ensure studies are delivered smoothly from proposal through fieldwork and analysis.
What You’ll Do
Project Design & Proposal Support

Partner with senior researchers to scope new projects and develop research proposals

Assess project feasibility, timelines, and sampling requirements

Conduct vendor research and evaluate potential sample partners

Collect and negotiate bids from vendors and support project cost estimation

Liaise between internal teams and vendors to ensure scope alignment and feasibility
Project Operations & Quality Assurance

Support quantitative research execution with a focus on logistics and operational excellence

Manage project workflows and tracking within Asana

Conduct survey quality checks including questionnaire clean reads, logic scrubs, and time testing

Perform programming checks and troubleshoot potential survey issues

Monitor fieldwork performance, including soft-launch checks and ongoing field updates to teams
Operational Excellence

Maintain strong relationships with external vendors and research partners

Support data deliverables through charting, tab planning, and other research logistics when needed

Contribute to company-wide initiatives focused on improving research operations and efficiency

Assist with vendor management, financial tracking, and profitability measurement
What They’re Looking For

5+ years of experience within a market research agency or sampling vendor environment

Strong background in quantitative research operations and project management

Experience supporting custom research projects from design through fieldwork execution

Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and process orientation

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot operational challenges

Collaborative team player with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset

Experience working across both research and operational functions within project teams
