Title: Data Scientist (Contract-to-Hire)

THE ROLE
We're looking for a data scientist who lives at the intersection of ML and human motivation. Someone who's as curious about why people do things as they are about the numbers behind it.

You'll start by owning quality and implementation of our current platform, with a clear path to full dataset ownership and shaping what comes next.


YOU BRING

  • Deep quantitative chops: modeling, statistical analysis, pattern recognition
  • Fluency in at least one advanced tool (SPSS, R, Python, or equivalent)
  • Experience with SQL databases and Excel workflows
  • Curiosity about qualitative data and what it reveals beyond the numbers
  • Collaborative experience working alongside AI/ML engineers
  • Clear, confident communication with teammates and about ideas

THE WORK

  • Sole data source: our proprietary platform, yielding hybrid quant + qual output
  • Data lives in a SQL database with Excel export
  • You'll partner with our project team, CEO, and CTO on data refinement
  • Near-term focus: accuracy and QA. Longer-term: new analysis layers, automated reporting, product evolution
