Title: Market Research Strategy Director 
Location: Brooklyn, NY (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 remote)
Compensation: $150-160,000 + profit share

An insights driven consultancy is seeking a seasoned and strategic leader to join their U.S. team as a Strategy Director. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a passionate group of researchers, strategists, and creatives who bridge consumer insight, behavioral science, and impactful storytelling.
As Strategy Director, you'll play a key role in shaping the direction of a high-performing team, while delivering projects that drive change for global brands. You'll also partner closely with the London-based team to build cross-market influence.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver best-in-class research and strategic insight projects using a variety of methodologies
  • Craft compelling strategic narratives that influence C-suite decision-making
  • Oversee client relationships, project scopes, and revenue responsibilities
  • Mentor and grow the U.S. insights team; shape team culture and capabilities
  • Contribute to internal initiatives in areas like marketing, training, or process
  • Integrate new methods, technologies, and thinking into day-to-day work
  • Facilitate workshops and upskill colleagues across disciplines

Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in an insight or strategy agency setting
  • Deep experience in qualitative and quantitative research for brand, innovation, or communication projects
  • Strong moderating and facilitation skills (especially in front of senior stakeholders)
  • Proven leadership, team development, and client management skills
  • Strategic thinker with a background in social/behavioral sciences (e.g. psychology, anthropology, sociology)
