Job Description

Position: Modeling Actuary - Risk
Location:  Remote
Salary: $130,000-150,000 + Bonus

Actuarial Summary:
This actuary will support actuarial model validation activities within a growing model risk team, focusing on independent review, documentation, and clear communication of results. This role is ideal for a career ASA with strong experience in life, annuity, or long-term care models who enjoys analytical rigor, report writing, and cross-functional collaboration. 

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:
  • Perform independent validations of actuarial models with a strong emphasis on documentation and reporting
  • Communicate findings clearly with actuarial, risk, and business stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree and ASA with 5–7+ years of actuarial experience in life, annuity, or LTC
  • 3+ years of experience developing actuarial models
  • Proficiency in at least one of SQL, Python, R, or AI tools
  • Near-FSA or FSA, LTC valuation experience, CERA, or consulting background preferred
