Job Description

Title- Senior Director/Director, Commercial/Business Analytics & Insights- PHARMA

Location- Greater Boston ( local candidates preferred) hybrid 2-3x week in office

Salary - $240-260k + Bonus + LTI

My client a Mid Size Bio Pharma Company, is seeking a "Senior Director/Director, Commercial /Business Analytics & Insights-PHARMA" Professional!

 

The ideal candidate will play a strategic role in delivering data-driven insights to support commercial decision-making and business growth. This individual will lead efforts in commercial analytics, reporting and market research while serving as a key partner to cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Business Development.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic insights and serve as a problem-solving partner for commercial and marketing teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align commercial analytics initiatives with business objectives.
  • Lead secondary data analysis and market research to generate actionable recommendations.
  • Oversee reporting processes related to product launches and commercial performance.
  • Ensure data availability, quality, and compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across internal teams and external vendors.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) preferred.
  • 10–12 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, primarily in the U.S.
  • Strong background in business analytics, insights, market research, and competitive intelligence.
  • Experience with pharmaceutical data sources (e.g., CRM, claims, sales); technical skills in SQL, Python, or cloud platforms are a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel, data visualization, and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.
