Well known company is seeking a Pricing Analyst to produce statistical analysis and predictive models designed to improve pricing strategies. You will provide insights through the use of sales, historical and competitor data to achieve financial targets. Use your expertise in statistical software tools to help shape the direction of the company's pricing policies and processes.
Responsibilities of the Pricing Analyst:
--Create pricing tools designed to develop customer trends, improve customer loyalty and competitor insights.
--Work cross-functionally to understand pricing issues and develop solutions to improve the bottom line.
--Use analysis to improve price rule guidelines.
--Develop recommendations for promotions.
Qualifications of the Pricing Analyst:
--Pricing analytics experience in a business environment, preferably at a retailer or consumer goods company.
--Business based proficiency using statistical tools e.g. SAS, R, SQL, Alteryx, Excel and Power BI.
--Minimum bachelor's in a quantitative field (predictive analytics, statistics, mathematics, economics, Master's preferred.
--Minimum 3 years of relevant business experience (post academia).
--Business based expertise in statistical techniques using large data sets.
