Principal Credit Risk Modeler - REMOTE
Base salary $95,000 - 140,000

Fast growing company is seeking a Principal Credit Risk Modeler to support decision making in the business. You will help the business make go/no-go decisions around credit limits, improve collections, identify late payers, optimize spend and mitigate risk. Seeking advanced credit risk modelers with hands-on experience building and deploying models and providing statistical analysis and insights.

Qualifications of the Principal Credit Risk Modeler:

--Minimum 4 years of business experience doing advanced credit risk modeling (loan or credit scoring).
--Business experience using probability theory and sampling, statistical modeling and test/control to solve business challenges.
--Experience mentoring quantitative professionals in the workplace.
--Expertise using Python, R or SAS, SQL and visualization tools for credit modeling and analysis.
--Expertise working with large and varied datasets in a business environment.
--Ability to interpret performance results and recommend improvements to senior management.
--Proven ability to partner with stakeholders to minimize credit risk and drive customer satisfaction.
--Minimum bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (statistics, applied mathematics, economics or other). Master's degree preferred.
--Strong verbal and written communication.
