Title: Qualitative Research Director
Location: Chicago, IL or Remote
Compensation: $140-165,000

We are looking for a new Qualitative Research Director to join a brand and marketing consultancy with offices in Chicago, Vancouver & London. Ideally this person would be in Chicago and work hybrid, but we can consider folks in other areas of the US.

What you'll be doing:
- Leading consultative qualitative projects
- Winning and building new business (about 30% of time)
- Working with clients to understand challenges and developing proposals, designing and costing projects
- Mentoring and growing junior level staff
- Continuously challenging the status quo, developing "out of the box" custom ideas to solve client business issues
- Present insights in a thoughtful and compelling manner

What makes you qualified:
- You are a creative thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit
- You maintain a variety of product innovation or brand strategy knowledge and leading creative strategy
- Experience within brand strategy, innovation and marketing
- Minimum 10 years experience within custom, primary research (qualitative)
- Proven background leading and mentoring a team
- Proven background building and maintaining business (have held past quotas)
- Ability to travel globally
