Title: Sales Director
Location: New York City | Full-Time | In Office
Compensation: $135,000 base + Bonus + Commission (OTE ~$200,000)

Are you a high-performing sales leader who enjoys building teams, improving processes, and leveraging technology to drive revenue? Our client is an established insights and technology company seeking a Sales Director to lead, coach, and elevate a growing commercial organization while remaining hands-on with key client relationships.

This is an opportunity to join the executive leadership team, shape the future of the sales function, and play a meaningful role in scaling the business.
 

What You'll Do

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 10+ sales professionals.
  • Drive sales performance through coaching, accountability, and ongoing professional development.
  • Own pipeline management, forecasting, and sales performance metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, processes, and overall team effectiveness.
  • Champion the implementation of AI, automation, and CRM best practices across the sales organization.
  • Personally manage and close strategic opportunities (approximately 20% individual contributor responsibilities).
  • Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute growth strategies.

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years of successful B2B sales experience.
  • Experience selling into Fortune 500 organizations, particularly within PR, communications, corporate affairs, HR, or related functions.
  • 1–2+ years of sales leadership experience preferred; exceptional top-performing individual contributors looking to step into management are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a passion for sales operations, forecasting, and process optimization.
  • Comfortable adopting and implementing CRM technologies, AI tools, and sales automation platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
