Job Description

$14 Billion Hedge Fund seeks a Software Engineer to help lead the strategic execution arm for senior leadership, driving a small number of high-impact initiatives each quarter that extend beyond the hedge fund’s core operations. Operating with autonomy and a bias toward action, the team transforms leadership’s priorities into well-scoped, outcome-driven projects. Typical initiatives include building AI-native internal tools, developing custom agents to streamline workflows, and creating management-facing reporting systems that enhance transparency and decision-making.

Members of the team combine strong technical expertise with strategic thinking—leading projects from concept through delivery, collaborating across departments, and embedding with business units when needed to accelerate outcomes. Ideal candidates are hands-on builders comfortable with ambiguity and modern development practices, and capable of rapidly prototyping and deploying scalable solutions. Experience integrating AI technologies, working with cloud and data systems, or operating within financial services environments is a strong plus.
