Job Description

Position: Senior Actuary, Consultant
Location:  Remote
Salary: $150,000-225,000 + Bonus

Actuarial Summary:

A leading actuarial consulting firm is seeking a Consulting Actuary to lead projects in Value-Based Care. This role combines strategic insight, technical analysis, and client engagement to deliver impactful actuarial solutions. The ideal candidate will guide junior staff, manage client relationships, and collaborate across teams to develop models, analyze healthcare trends, and enhance processes—helping clients achieve measurable, sustainable growth through data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • ASA designation required; FSA designation preferred

  • 7–10 years of experience analyzing and interpreting medical claims data

  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach

  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills across diverse stakeholders

  • Proven ability to manage time effectively and prioritize competing demands

  • Advanced technical proficiency in Excel, R, and Python
