Job Description

Title: Senior Actuarial Analyst
Location: Connecticut / Hybrid
Salary -$115,000 - $145,000 Base + Bonus

Actuarial Overview:
Join an agile team collaborating across all departments of the company. This role offers exposure to diverse aspects of actuarial work, encompassing life insurance, annuity valuation, financial projection, embedded value, asset/liability management, and capital management.

Actuarial Role & Requirements:
-Compute STAT/GAAP/Tax Reserves, DAC/VOBA, etc., and assist in quarterly results analysis
-Support model and valuation platform conversions as well as system validation efforts
-Perform experience analysis and prepare comprehensive reports for management
-4+ years of experience in US Stat or GAAP reserving or financial reporting within the insurance sector
-Familiarity with actuarial software such as Moodys Axis or ALFA
