Prominent Chicago based company is seeking a Statistical Modeler to build and deploy complex predictive models, produce advanced analysis and provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership. To qualify for this internal consultant role, you must have a minimum of 5 years of marketing analytics experience (post academia) with proficiency in statistical modeling, data mining, forecasting, customer segmentation and loyalty analytics. Use your end-to-end analytical skills in manipulating data, coding, modeling and providing analysis and insights. What does success in this role look like? You will increase customer satisfaction as well as company ROI.

Responsibilities of the Statistical Modeler:

--Help the business improve understanding of customer behavior and customer segments.
--Build and deploy advanced statistical models from requirements gathering through implementation and measurement.
--Build churn models and measure the effectiveness of loyalty marketing campaigns.
--Develop fraud detection tools and data mining processes to find and mitigate fraudulent behavior.
--Produce forecasts for operations, marketing, finance and other internal teams.
--Analyze impact of product price changes and develop optimal price recommendations.
--Develop new data sources.

Qualifications of the Statistical Modeler:

--Minimum of 5 years of relevant, hands-on modeling experience (post academia) in a business environment, leading end to end advanced analytics projects.
--Advanced data manipulation and modeling skills using SAS or R as well as SQL and other statistical tools.
--Minimum bachelors degree in a quantitative field (predictive analytics, applied math, statistics, economics or other). Master's degree highly desired.
--Highly developed ability to translate analytical output into strategic recommendations.
--Proven ability to work with multiple departments of the company including operations, marketing, finance and risk.
--Ability to lead project teams and also develop solutions independently.
