• 3+ years working in a consulting role or within a insurance payer or provider
• Previous experience with Medicare, Value Based Care Agreements, or Risk Adjustment
• 4+ SOA exams and or completion of an ASA/FSA (Society of Actuaries)

We are seeking an experienced  Senior Actuarial  Associate to lead initiatives within our Value-Based Care (VBC) and Risk Adjustment teams, playing a pivotal role in the strategic management of healthcare provider contracts and risk models. This individual will be a key driver in shaping the success of our organization’s VBC strategies, overseeing the development of complex actuarial models, and ensuring accurate financial forecasting to support leadership decision-making.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications  :

• Lead the development and management of advanced Value-Based Care (VBC) contracts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Leveraging actuarial expertise to assess financial performance and risk exposure.
• 6-8 years of actuarial experience, with a proven track record in Medicare, Medicaid, or provider contracting environments.
• Deep expertise in Value-Based Care, including risk adjustment models, population health management, and the financial intricacies of provider contracts.
• Experience in a healthcare provider setting or health insurance company, ideally with direct involvement in VBC contract management.
• Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation. Strong SQL programming skills

Summary:
We are seeking an actuarial professional with at least two years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong quantitative background and have passed at least two actuarial exams.
